Default Shocks for stock height?

I have a 15 fx4 sc 4x4 and was looking for a stiffer shock for stock height. Found rancho 5000x but that is about it.Bilstein does not make any. I had put 5100's on my f350 and cut down the wheel hop on wash board roads. This 150 is down right scary on gravel roads. I did see the sway bar guys are using but I know I can't loose the clearance. Any suggestions?

The front shocks aren't so bad its the rears that cause the scary hop. If you don't plan on leveling or lifting just throw some fox 2.0's on the rear. I have them and love them.

Some guys have put on bilstein HD's and 5100's from the previous gen truck as well. (Rear only) and have no complaints.

Sway bar helps with the hop, but shocks will help more with the front to back rocking boat like feeling when going over bumps.

Fox 2.0 is the way to go. Really enjoying mines. Boss makes some good ones as well. You can get both the fox 2.0's and the boss ones with reservoirs as well if you want. Icon makes some good 2.0's as well. Go look at stage 3 motorsports. They sell the best of everything and a good place to look for quality parts with good prices.

You can get Bilstein 5100's for the rear now (2015+ F150) and they're cheaper than Fox. Fox 2.0's have had some issues as well if you've been reading the board.
I recently installed 5100's on my truck and there's definitely a difference for the better. I haven't had the back end hop out on me since.

you could still run front bilsteins in the 0 position if you wanted to change the front 'shocks' as well, although they are a little pricey when you factor in the install cost/time and an alignment. It would give you the firmer ride though, and personally I would set them on the second setting and get a tad of front lift (unless you want more)

I just ordered a pair of Bilstein 5100s for the rear of my truck. Hope they help with wheel hop!
