Greetings gents,

While accelerating and merging onto the highway today noticed what seems to be a pretty serious issue. The engine revs to about 4500rpms and just kind of stays there for about three-four seconds before shifting into the next gear, despite the fact that the pedal is pushed to the floor. It does this throughout all of the gears. The truck has never had this issue before and this is the first time it’s happened. I’ll be taking it to Ford tomorrow but I was wondering if what I described has happened to anybody else. Truck is a 2015 5.0.
