I think alot of people just like the styling of the FX4. The FX4 seems to be very popular in my area, my buddy will only buy FX4's but its has nothing to do with off road performance.

But now on 2015's FX4 is an option on any truck so makes no difference styling wise. So if you don't go off road no point to get it IMO (correct me if I'm wrong?)

Correct no style difference. However at 770(check that but 95% positive) as the price it's a steal. If you want the e locker it's 400ish and included in fx4. Plus skid plates, shocks, and hill descent make that an awesome package. I very seldom leave a roadway but like ride better and won't order one without the locker. Skid plates an be good for anything. Just great protection for vital parts.

seems if you want the full fx4 styling you need to buy the fx4 package and the sport package?

ok, i see what you saying. adding the fx4 package dose not change the looks? so the sport package styles the truck like the old fx4's did with no chrome. is this right?

If you want no chrome you go with sport package. No need to get FX4 unless you really want/need to have it but look wise will still look the same with or without FX4.

Hope I didn't confuse you more

Dose the sport package still have the tinted rear windows or is it like the current stx trucks with clear glass?

It does on the Lariat Sport, I'm not sure about the XLT Sport and XL Sport. It doesn't list it as part of any of the packages in the Appearance Guide, maybe that's more related to the level of XL or XLT (101A, 301A, etc)

Hankooks only apply to 20" sizes. They don't come in a 18" variation
