Just got my F150 last week and noticed it has option for wifi hotspot; first three months are free then for us in Canada $15/1g|$35/4g|$70/10g or $200 (12 month prepaid) for 20g
I see down south you get $20/unlimited data which would be fantastic but alas our Canadian market doesn't seem to support such plans yet.
My question is there anyway to share data I already have on my cellular plan?
Also what good is the vehicle phone #?

The phone number is needed for the cell towers to know where to route the incoming and outgoing data. If you have a hotspot on your phone you really don’t need the one in the truck. As for sharing the data plans that is up to the carriers (Rodgers etc).
