Shakes
Last week I drove truck about 20 miles at highway speeds. Let it sit for three hours or so.
started it and at 40 mph started shaking badly. Stopped to look it over and saw nothing. Came rest of way home with no problem. Since then have driven several hundred miles with no problem.
any ideas?
a month ago had drivers side bearing assembly replaced.

Juut a thought, a Tire Belt vs its heat could be the issue if it comes and goes generating a variable out of Balance at times.
Try watching the TPM screen for one Tire acting noticeably different than the other 3. It could be a clue.
I am chasing just such an issue from a Clue that one Wheel could not be balanced and showed different unbalance every time they spun it up.
Seem that has to be a bad casing.
In my case vibration is not bad enough for Tire replacement just yet because all the tires have a lot of tread on them yet.
My theory is if the Casing is squirming more than normal it must generate more heat at times when it's out of balance. It should show up as a pressure change due to the heat change then settle down only to happen again when the speed and road conditions cause it to show. Just a theory so far until the Tires are replaced to prove one way or another.
Good luck.
