If this Q has already been asked, I apologize. I'm new to this forum and I'm still trying to find my way around this site. Anyhoo, I've been trying to 2 days to set a personal 5 digit security code on my drivers door with no luck. If I'm reading the instructions correctly, I key in the factory set code, press the 1/2 button(one time), then key in my 5 digit code, then press 1/2 again(one time). At this point the doors are supposed to lock/unlock to confirm the new code. But nothing happens. What am I missing?

 

When I set mine I don't think the doors locked and unlocked. Have you tried your code to see if it works?

I saw the option to change the code in the Sync settings but I tried changing it through there on 3 different 2015 F-150s and I was never able to. I entered the factory code and all it does is clear what I just typed in and does nothing.

I did have success setting a code from the door though.
