Default Sensor for lights (not the one on the dash)

My truck is in the body shop after my wreck in June and they called me yesterday and said something about a sensor behind the front bumper that controls the inside lights staying on. May have something to do with the fog lights/driving lights that aren't being put back into the new bumper. Anyone have any ideas or information on this? Never heard of a sensor behind the bumper that controls the inside lights staying on or going off. I'm going to the body shop today (been out of town for last week and a half) to see what they're talking about. Just looking for any info on this setup. I don't have the ACC or any front camera on the truck. This is on a 2016 Lariat 501A package.

Thanks for any help.

Nope, nothing behind the bumper to control lights. That's on the center of the dash.
