Default Seeking level kit suggestions

Just bought this truck off the dealer 17 days ago. 2016 3.5 ecoboost 2wd. Looking for recommendations for raising it a few inches. leaning more to 3" or 3.5" level kit in front for a aggressive look. Have had several shops tell me different things on the wheels and lift set up not sure if they know what set up would be ideal considering I've seen set ups they say can't be done without a lift.. just wanted to know what set up you guys have and how the truck continues to preform.

Thanks and happy new year !

Just curious why would you buy a 2WD and try and make it look like a 4 wheel drive truck? Why not just buy a 4 wheel drive and then put a leveling/lift kit on it and then add bigger tires for a more aggressive look.

Just curious why a 2wd truck can't look aggressive and have big tires? Who said anything about making it look like a 4wd, other than a badge, AT tires, and a small difference in height 2wd and 4wd trucks look a lot alike. Some people(myself included) can't afford a 4wd or don't live in an area to justify spending the extra $$ to have one. You don't have to have 4wd to go off-roading, but the horrible factory rake and street tires severely limit you more than not having 4wd.

You have a point, but I like having and not needing than needing and not having, but I can understand why some would rather have a 2 wheel drive, well no I can't, but that's okay to each his own.

I apologize for giving you a hard time, but I grew un in south Texas and we always had a 4 wheel drive truck, so when I bought my first truck a long long time ago, I bought a 4 wheel drive and just that it wasn't a choice for me had to have it. Good luck and hopefully your truck turns out exactly like you want it to turn out.

You've already bought the truck, not much you can do about it now but make it look the way you want.

Anyway, you probably aren't going to find a level kit over 2.5" for the newer Ford trucks in 2wd. Anything higher and you will over stress the cv joints and possibly the upper control arm. Readylift makes 2.25" spacers for 2wd trucks. You'll probably want to add their 2wd rear blocks too. If you want a better smoother ride you may want to see if Bilstein or Eibach make leveled struts for 2wd, but I'm not sure if they do. If I'm wrong on this someone will chime in I'm sure. Other than that, if you want to go higher you probably need a full lift kit, if they even make those for 2wd.
