Default Seeing climate temp and outdoor temp when using android auto

I recently swapped a sync 3 head unit into my 2015 and love it. However, I find it inconvenient to see either the outdoor temperature or the climate temperature I'm adjusting when using Android Auto. Right now I have to go into the AA app listing and select the Ford Sync option to get to the sync 3 screen where this info is displayed and it takes about 4 taps while looking at the screen.

Is there a shortcut to accomplish this? It feels like there should be a qucik button to toggle between the two interfaces.

Press your voice activation button and ask Google the temp. No need to take your eyes off the road at all. That's the whole point of Android Auto.

Heck depending on your settings you dont even need to push the button. Just say hey google nice and loud . To the OP there is no way to get the factory temp to show in android auto sadly. This a been a complaint for years

Yep. For the outdoor temp just ask Google. For the indoor temp just adjust up or down as needed.

I guess this just shows that different solutions work better for different people. I find a momentary glance much less distracting than trying to talk to a voice assistant.
