Sadly harness issues are pretty common. I personally highly doubt it's the light. I haven't seen a single person saying they have ever had a faulty headlight assmbly, both in full OEM trucks and in retrofit trucks. Obviously there has to be a first time, but my money would be on the harness.
What harness do you have and do you know what gen it is?

so worked half day today and got the chance to take out the headlight out again. the driver side is easy to get to so I didnt have to take it out or anything. just unplug it and extend it to the top and plug the PS headlight. Same results. EVerything works except the Low beam.
so that leaves the LED bulb right? and its the new style where you have to open up the headlight to get to it.
so the next step is to find out if the bulbs from the 15s will work with the 16+ headlights.
If anyone knows please share with us

well, after opening the headlight up and replacing the LED lamp, I am still not getting any light from that sucker.
I guess that leaves the ballast huh?
tomorrow I will take the drivers side headlight out and swap ballasts and see what happens.
So just in case anyone is interested in this, I came up with a way to replace the lamp without opening the whole assembly.
photos are below, you can see what I did. Basically, I cut the back where the cover USED to be. bought the cover from my local dealer and the screws for $9 and its all good. and just incase someone says leaks and this and that, the cover comes with a gasket around it will never get moisture in it.

Just FYI, the stock LED bulbs are NOT covered under the standard factory warranty as they are classified as light bulbs which are not covered. Only if you buy the Ford Premium Care with Plus option are the LEDS then covered. I bought this warranty for my truck.
