Just curious if I made a mistake of not waiting a few months

 

The lariat seats are different from the 15-17. The ac and heated also changed in the seats and Works much better.

 

How are the seats in the 2018 Lariat different? I had an XLT 2015 and test drove a 2017 Lariat. I have a 2018 Lariat but I don't remember the seats in the 2017.

 

Not the best but screen grabs from a 17 and 18. The 18 has a stitch down the middle. I would assume to correct the loose leather on the seat bottom we all had on the 15-17s.

 

Ok, cool. The '18 looks better, too.

 

My 18 cools and heats whereas my 2015 did not.

 

Looks like there is more padding in the middle of the 18 seat, is that true? Thats the worst part about the seats in the 16, hard bolsters and not enough padding in the middle. I fixed mine with 2" of foam, and it is comfortable now.

 

Agreed, 18 seats are better. Coming from 16 Platinum to 18 Platinum. Heated and Cooled works now and seems like more padding in center.
