Bought a tuner and tunes from Torrie a while back and have a few questions. I know he would answer but I thought asking here and having answers posted might help others that aren't very tuner savvy.
When I first got the tunes I went with the eco tune to see if I could get a little extra out of a tank. Years it worked and I got a little power too. had to take it to the dealer so I put the factory setup back in and I noticed I lost all my radio settings and Sirius had to do an update. Didn't think anything about it until I put the 93 tune in and had to go back stock again and, as before, I lost all the settings and Sirius had to do the update.
Anybody have any ideas a set to why this would happen?
Not a huge deal, just odd.

That's odd. I've never seen that before and I've tuned hundreds, if not thousand's of F-150's over the years.
One time, I could see it being a fluke or something but 2 times and same thing happening? Something has to be driving that...
Post up what you figure it out when you do, be curious to hear what it was / and the fix.

Would you recommend saving the current setup over the original tune file (with the same name) to see if that may help?
Then also when loading the OEM setting save it as well?
I'll try again tonight and see what happens.

Ok I changed my tune from 93 performance to stock then to 87 tow. I didn't lose my radio settings but the dash backlights went to full bright and the radio had to do a sync update. This was both times. Not a huge issue just weird.
