Default Screen freeze

I have a 2017 F150 XLT FX4 with SYNC 3 and an 8" screen. Today I tried to check the College football scores on it (Sirius) and it locked up. I could not exit or even change or turn off the radio. I only could turn the volume up and down. When I backed up the backup camera came on and then as I drove off I was still looking at the scene behind my truck. When I shut the truck off for just a moment it didn't help. When I shut it off for about 20 minutes it was working OK again. But I tried to check the scores again and it done the same thing. Anyone else have this problem before? What needs to be done to correct it?

I tried the search and didn't find any thing. I thought I would ask here before going to dealer.

.
I have noticed what you describe with the back-up camera, but only going from reverse to drive. If I go from reverse to park, the screen changes right away. I haven't brought it into the shop yet.

There is an optional setting in IPC that keeps the rear cam on until you reach 5 or 10mph, then it shuts off.

^^^ yes, there is a delay option you can turn on or off. As far as the freezing, monitor it and take pics/videos when it happens for the dealer. They could not duplicate my issue but luckily I had pics and videos showing the issue. Turned out it was a bad module.

Mine started freezing, slow to respond, no GPS at times. Turns out it was a bad APIM. Dealer replaced and no problems since.
