On my 2007 f150 Lariat Super Cab my stock running boards are starting to show chrome plating separation between the slats and two are loose. This area holds winter salt water and has always been a bear to clean. Can someone suggest a good replacement ?

 

Check EBay for OEM replacement ones. Maybe try the grey ones instead of the chrome. My chrome ones have 2 spots on the drivers side that are getting bad. I'm thinking of switching to the dark grey ones from a sport. Going to be looking at some on trucks around town to see how they are holding up to winters.

 

I'd look for some that have the "Line-X" type coating on them. Probably hold up better in the winter.
