New to the forums, I recently purchased a 16 xlt f150 SCREW in caribou metallic. I bought some running boards in clist and ended up having the f250 bracket. I installed them in the truck but they sit to low. I've read other old threads where people were looking to lower the running boards. If any one is interested in trading brackets .,let me know . Thank you in advance.

 

The easier solution would be to lift your truck...

 

How far below the bottom of the cab are they? I need to lower my boards.

 

They are 6" from the door, and about 4.5 from the frame.
