So I am looking for an opinion.

I have a '17 XLT sport in ruby red. I am thinking of putting on the special edition grille in magnetic and the special edition badges. I am not going to add the wheels or the decals. Will either go with Anzo's or the factory special edition headlights. Anyway, any thoughts?

If I don't put on the grille i'll take the time to separate the back section of the grille and replace the factory sport ruby red grille back part. I also will be keeping the factory 20" sport wheels as well.

IMO, the SE heads look better. I used SpecD heads, they look the same, and a whole lot cheaper. See my photo, I'm not sure what you're wanting to do with the grille.

I have been leaning towards the special edition headlights. I like the look of the Anzo's but I am also taking a chance on the build quality of a particular set of lights.

For the grill I am looking at doing what's in the attached picture. Otherwise those narrower slats pop out of the rear (with some time and patience) and I can put them behind my Ruby red grill. Just something to be a little different.

Default Here's mine

Had the grille wrapped in Black Metallic along with: the power deploying running board edge, mirror caps, handles, window trim, tailgate dinner plate and handle.

Oh, gotcha! I forgot the SE grille had the additional small slats. I thought you were leaning toward what I did. I like that idea of using those small slats like that, don't recall ever seeing that before.
I totally understand using the OEM heads, but wow, $$$$

LOL, I'm only taking about the XLT SE heads. The Lariat ones are pieces of gold apparently. I'll just retrofit them with Diode Dynamics LED headlight bulbs since they have DOT ones that fit and have the correct light output. While I do like the LED surround it isn't that special. I'm more function than form.

As for the grill I have a picture of your truck as painting it like you did is also an option.

Well I take that as a compliment! I just so happen to have the SL1s in both hi and lo beams, I like them.
