Default Rubbing Issue/Swapping Wheels

Good morning everyone,

So I ran into a problem which could have been prevented. I have a 2016 Lariat with a 2" RC leveling kit. I recently purchase brand new 285/60r20 bfg ko2's and a set of used AXE Icarus 20x10 wheels with a -19 offset.. like most of you probably can already assume I'm having rubbing issues (Front/Rear crash bars). Weirdly enough, when I bought the rims used, the previous owner had a 2019 Lariat with the same 2" leveling (just different brand) and didn't have problems.

So I'm looking at a set of fairly mint shape 20" STX wheels and just want to make sure they will fit the 285's I have along with the 2" level kit that's already installed.

-19 offset is your problem.

Yeah. Just not sure if I want to up the lift, or go back to stock wheels. I really like the tires and the size I got. I'm not up for cutting my crash bars either.

I just installed some 275/60r20 Recon Grappler and my rims are -19. I know that they are not the ones you want but they are only a 1/2" smaller diameter and about 3/8" narrower. Your truck would only sit a 1/4" lower than the OEM. I had 33x12.5 MTs before and would get a little rub at full lock. The Recons don't rub at all and are quiet as a church mouse compared to the MTs and come with a 65k warranty. Something to think about.
