Default Rock Sliders

Has anyone done Rock Sliders on the new aluminum truck? My daughter is driving off road and we need some armor.

The stock nerf bars are pretty flimsy.

That's about $700-$800 over priced. What a rip off.
Why not call All Pro Off Road, Demello Off Road or one of a hundred other custom fabricators and get the same thing, powder coated with bolt on or weld on for much less?

If anyone finds someone currently making these at a reasonable price point ...
Does not seem to be many available. Definitely a bummer.

The ones we sell are similarly priced. Thats the going rate for a quality shops. We could cut you a better deal than list if you were interested.

Crazy Silly
Give it time. Someone will corner the market with a reasonably priced set of sliders.

That is craziness. More than 3 times as much as the really high quality sliders I put on my 4 door wrangler.

The JDM crowd gets the same steel, more choices/options, powder coated, color of powder coat, choice of bolted or welded on, choice of round or square, made in the good ol' USA product for half that price...

There are another dozen suppliers for Tacomas/Tundras/FJs out there. I'm sure some of them would fabricate parts for Ford at similar prices if someone gave them a call and a truck to work with. Same goes for the Jeep world...

I've looked at the Addictive Desert Designs "rock slider".

They were 4-5x the price that they should be and they aren't actually rock sliders.

They mount to the pinch weld bellow the door like any other side step, not like a true rock slider that mounts to the frame and ideally the pinch weld for support.

Nobody makes any rock slider for the 2015 plus f150 so it looks like I'll have to build a set, should be fairly easy ( I built a bumper for my truck) compared to what I've built for my truck already.
