Default Rock Chips

Hey all:
I bought a raptor style grille for my 2017 F150 and painted it to color match my truck. I have only had it on for three months of driving maybe 500 miles total. I baby my truck. But it has TONS of rock chips that now show the undercoat of the grille. Any suggestions to help me out so I am not repainting it every few months? Grille guard/ brush guard perhaps??

Might want to look at getting the grille powder coated. Plastic can be coated with UV-cured powder coating. That works on plastic because the time to melt the powder is short and the temperatures used are low.

No idea of the cost but powder coating is extremely durable as opposed to what you're dealing with now. I'm not a fan of 3M clear because it's always noticable IMO. Just a suggestion....

A proper paint job should not chip in that time so if you paey to have it done take it back. If you used a rattle can paint job then that can be expected cause that API t doesn't harden like real professional automotive paint.
