Default Restraint error code

Since I have purchased this truck I have gotten this message close to 70 times, while owning the truck just over a year.

I have had the problem for a year of owning this truck. My airbag restraint light comes on and the following happens:

passenger airbag light disappears, heater/AC stops working, locks will not unlock unless I turn off truck, driver side and passenger windows will not roll up or down, radio controls inop on dash board under navigation screen.

Has anyone experience this malfunction as this is an intermittent problem. I’ve turned my truck in five times and the dealership experienced the problem once. The fixed the control module in March 2019 and I still having problem. I turned my truck in yesterday and the dealership can’t make repairs or refuses to because they can’t visualize problem.

this is becoming a safety issue and a huge inconvenience as an owner! Help please

Good thing to do is video the problem when it is happening for proof so they can review

Default Restraint light

Jamie75, the dealership won’t accept a video. They said they must see problems themselves. Plus the dealership is not receiving any error codes when they read the system.

Dealership is 30 minutes away and problem is intermittent and is usually gone by the time I get to dealership.

I had something similar in my 2018 KR. After a few trips to the dealer, it turned out to be a faulty/loose connector under the passenger seat. SRS light was going on and off intermittently.
