I lost one of my fobs to my truck and have purchased a new one. Does anyone know if it is possible to reprogram my spare and the new one so that the lost one no longer works? I am worried someone else might find the lost one and try to use it. I found this guide on reprogramming the keys but it doesn't mention if a completely new signal is established or not. Anyone have any ideas?

 

If you only have 1 working key, you need to go to the dealer, at this time they can also erase the old key.
