Default Replacing wheel studs on rear HELP ME

So I have a 2015 f150 platinum with the locking rear diff and I need to replace all six wheel studs on the driver's rear. I have had trouble finding info on how to do it because you cannot just fit the new studs in once the old are out. There isn't enough clearance anywhere. I'm wondering if there is any way to do this without having to remove the axle shaft and mess around inside of the diff which is intimidating. If anyone knows of an alternate method that would be great or if anyone knows how to do it the hard way I could really use a little help.

The studs have to be pressed in. Axle has to come out.

You got the old ones out? If you got them out, whats wrong with getting them in?

You can use some washers, and a flat faced lugnut (like a non-chrome one, backwards), and use an impact. It will pull the studs in through the splines.

I've not seen that listed as an approved method in a service manual, but it's what I've always done and it's worked out fine. Don't think I've ever needed to replace a stud I've put in using this method before either.

He probably cut the old studs to get them out.

Broken studs are shorter, so they usually hammer out between the space between the end of the axle, and end of the axle tube/caliper mount plate.
I have replaced studs on many vehicles, but never a '15+ F150.
I *assume* Ford was good enough not to add a clearance/access hole to push the new studs through.
If the newer 8.8's are like the older(9.75 as well), then with the differential cover off, just remove the "C" clip out, the axle slides out.
Fortunately, it's not a bad job.

Pull the rotor... lower spring and the adjuster for the e brakes, pound them out.. use the wager and nut method with an impact and pull them in... just did one not that long ago

Can I ask what happened that caused you to need to replace all 6 studs? I'd hate to make the same mistake!
