Default Replacing shocks/struts. What else?

i bought a used 2015 with 80k miles. The shocks/struts are original and could use a replacement. I’ve done cars before and always did the strut mounts and sway bar and links while in there but this will be my first time doing a truck. Is there anything else I should be replacing while I’m in there?

oh btw stock ride height and no plans to change that.

Rear shocks change out for sure. They are terrible. Most people on here either put in Fox 2.0 or Bilstein. I would add a Hellwig sway bar as well, really makes a difference.

No need to replace strut mounts on our trucks. Just decide on a budget and replace the front struts and rear shocks. Sway bar end links and bushing are always a good idea while you are in there.

Check your ball joints. If you are stock ride height that may be just fine, but always good to check.

Bilstein 5100's are very popular here for those of us that are budget minded. Autoplicity has a Bilstein sale thread. They can get you a pretty good discount. Sale thread
