2016 F150 XLT with sony premium sound and navigation. Is it possible to just replace the factory subwoofer only and get better sound. The factory sounds okay but bottoms out. Trying to do the bare minimum until I get a few payments under my belt...LOL

 

Hello, this tread might be dead but I do have an update. I recently purchased a 8 In sub off of amazon and i am currently waiting for a riser to come in to mount it to the factory box. I did a rough wiring job and set it in the box, not even being mounted it sounds so much better. At HIGH volume around 22 it did seem to cut a bit but overall just from that little test it did sound much better. Once everything comes in i will post pictures on the box and the way i have it mounted and will also link everything incase someone else wants to give it a shot. Im in about 70 bucks which is not bad at all.
