I installed the Sealight S1 set several weeks ago. No cars have flashed me. I haven't really run the fogs much. But the low beam and high beam are bright white and shine up the road very well. On my garage door I can certinly see the low beam drivers side is adjusted lower from the factory.

I had Sealight bulbs in my lights prior to switching to aftermarket projector lights. I put HID bulbs in my low beams but I was not happy with the output of the Hikari LEDs that I installed in the high beam projectors. I decided to switch to some Aukee LEDs. Man, these things are freaking bright. The output from those LEDs is almost twice as bright as what the Hikari LEDs could produce. Now, my LEDs are behind projectors and they are only in the high beams so I'm not sure how well the cutoff would be maintained if they were to be installed in reflectors. I just wanted to throw out a really bright LED bulb that would work great in a high beam position.

You pulled the headlight assemblies rather than going in through the wheel well? How long did that take? I tried the "easy halogen headlight mod" and wasn't too impressed with the output, so I have some Sealight S1 LEDs to install. I found the wheel well method to be really difficult and a PITA, so I'm considering the other route. I'm curious how long it took and if you followed a Youtube video or a manual or if you just winged it. (I will probably need to find something that shows me how to pull the headlights, which is why I'm asking.)

All in all, it was not too bad, You need to have a good set of trim pullers, I bought a nice set on amazon, made it go much easier and no damage to the trim.

Time wise it took me about an hour but I was working cautiously, looking at the videos step by step, now that I have done it once it would be a 20 min job.

Cheers

The wheel well method is not bad at all. Took me 90 minutes working slowly and had 2 phone calls in there. It does help to look at the light from the front to line up the locking fins.

Thanks, that helps. Any particular videos you found especially helpful?

I did not reinstall the rubber seals over the back of the fan cooled LED bulbs. I noticed the rubber covers obstruct the fans, thus could cause overheating, failure. These LED models are advertised as "waterproof". As high as they sit from the ground, and the overall coverage, I believe they'll be fine.
I went through the wheel well covers, and replaced all 6 of them in about 30 minutes. I just pull the fender well covers back to about to the top of the fender well (12 o'clock position).
Hope this helps.
