Default Replace shocks with Husky liners

It's getting close to time to replace the shocks on my truck. I'm going with Bilstein 6112s front and 5100s in the rear. My question is, has anyone had success changing rear shocks without removing the Husky wheel well liners?

just take a hole saw and drill a hole thru the plastic where the shock bolt is located so you can remove the bolt. If you feel the need to fill the hole back in just use a plastic body plug to fill the hole in.

Had Husky liners on my 2015. When I put Bilsteins on, I took the liners off. The problem after was, the Husky liners rubbed on the blue corrugated bellows, not terribly bad just a bit.

Thanks for the idea. I think I’ll go the hole saw route. Are you satisfied with the Bilsteins?

I was very satisfied with the Bilsteins. Just traded the truck for a 2020 F150, so back to stock shocks for now.
