Default Replace bumper instead of painting it?

Just curious. I have an appt Monday to paint the bumper on the 2016 Lithium Gray I bought this year. Was just thinking, 500 plus 350 or so to clear bra it, is almost the price of an aftermarket bumper.

Do you guys just live with all these rock chips?

Go out and touch them up weekly?

I hate seeing them anywhere, but the ones on my bumper are rusted so have to do something. The ones on my hood I can prob touch up with a toothpick and touch up paint unless anyone has a better recommendation? (I’ve watched videos on wet sanding, tooth pick method, dr color chip, and have no idea what’s best, I’ve never worried about this before because I’ve never gotten close to this many.)

I had to be patient searching cragslist and found one used and local. $200 and I replaced my painted, magnetic. Chrome bumpers are a dime a dozen.

Talked to the line x guys who did the bed liners on my last 2 trucks and they will remove, prep, and PTM the bumper for 600. 573 is cost to pain the bumper at the dealer. Anyone have a PTM line x bumper? Does it “match”/look the same from a distance? I really like the painted bumper look, but understand finding a chrome one might be an option too.
