Default Removing the tail lights

Is there anything one needs to know or be on the look out for when removing the tail lights?

Thanks in advance.

two bolts, i think they're 7 or 8mm. the pins that hold the light in can be tight so watch your paint while working those out. pull the housings out straight back - wiggle top to bottom if needed.

Do some YouTube searches, but pretty much as above. 2 bolts, wiggle the light out straight back to free it from the set clips.
I used a trim tool to help (basically a plastic pry bar) to not scratch the paint or mess up the tail light.

I wiggled the light too much & broke off the top tip. Super glued it back on with no issues. Took ilight off again later and the light came out easier than the first time.

I took my right one out to install tailgate damper. Above info is the way to do it. My assembly was held so tight by the clips I swore there was another bolt holding it in, but pulling straight back finally released the clips.
