I tried searching and didn't find what I was looking for, so hoping you can help. I'm planning on lifting my 2019 F150 XLT SuperCrew, but if I do, the shark fin will hit the frame of my garage door. If I remove this, what features will I lose? I believe I'll lose Wifi capabilities (which I don't use), but what about Sirius and any Ford app features (lock/start from cell phone). Thanks in advance.

Also - the only covers I can find to replace this aren't sold in black. Anyone know where I could pick one up...or can I replace it with an OEM one from a truck that doesn't have Wifi?

Ford uses other lower profile (much flatter) antennas, like on Mustangs, etc. Maybe you can just replace it, but you'd need to research if all connections are the same, for a plug-and-play installation. Good luck.

 

I have the flatter hockey puck looking antenna that seems ot work ok on my '18. Truck came with it new.
