Removing plastic top from tailgate
How does the top of the tailgate come off? (plain no step XLT) Are there hidden plastic pins or clips waiting to break off when I attempt to remove it?
My track record in removing plastic parts from vehicles without damaging them is poor.
Thanks

They're are plastic clips all along the top of it. Two in the farthest corners are the hardest.
Why do you want to remove it.

Just updating this with a picture.
These are the plastic rivets. Push up with your finger underneath and then pull them out. I could pull 2/4 out by hand and the other two I had to use the thingymabobber. These clips are reusable when you put on your new one. I had to take off this trim and the rails because there was so much mud built up that everytime it rained Id get brown streaks.
