Default Removing 12V writing

Anybody know the best way to remove the 12V writing on the dash door? I want to remove it without fading the black.

Stick some grains of salt to a piece of tape and sand it off

It shouldn't. You can use sugar if you want, it's softer. If you're super gentle with it, the grains should be hard enough to remove the writing but soft enough to not damage the plastic. You'll have to figure out the proper speed and pressure to get that going.
