Default How Did You Remove The Decal?

I'm contemplating removing the "Sport" decal on my Lariat Sport if I ever get it. To those that have removed the decals - how hard is it and how did you do it? Hair dryer & Goo-Gone and lots of patience? New truck is black and sure don't want to damage the paint.

On order since 1/20 - Lariat Scab w/Sport Pkg, Tuxedo Black/Black interior, 3.5 eco, 502a, moon roof, tow pkg, tailgate step.

It really is a matter of personal preference, but I too love the clean look. The sticker almost looks "hot wheel" to me. I had my dealership do it before I took delivery - took them all of 10 minutes. I think it's probably pretty easy with a little heat and gentle tugging.

I personally like them, but have also grown to like the clean appearance.

You paid around $3K for those stickers, so you should keep them!

I took them off of my current truck, nearly a year after I took delivery. It freshened things up a bit. So, if they do not bother you, save it for a rainy day project.

I used a clothes steamer. It heats them up and the just pull right off. It also works well if you need to remove tint from a window.

That's amazing: You remove the FX4 logo, and the bed grows 1' longer!

I'm not a fan of the colors of the new fx4 design. I got a couple extra OEM decals and cut out the colors with an exacto knife. Will try them on my white platinum screw when it's delivered next month.

years ago
when ordering the 4x4s you could opt out of the decal
it would be nice to bring back
i like the fx4 equipment.. but the sticker imo looks funny

when i was in school for diesels, the izuzu import yard in Jacksonville, had all the decals in a bag and the buyer could opt out or in at delivery
that would be cool, a bag O decalmania and you decide what gets put on or left off
