Default Removal of the crash bars?

I used this wheel offset calculator to see the difference between the wheels and tires I have on now, to the wheels I ordered with the tires that I used to have on them. I want to get them used up since they're just in storage. My wheels now are +18 offset with 275/70/18. I used to have the 305/60/18s on these wheels but am wanting to put them on my new ones that are -12 offset. According to Custom Offset site they will fit without rubbing/trimming, but now I'm not too sure. I could always put the 275s on the -12's and run the 305s back on my +18 wheels.
Removal of crash bars or "spreading" them could be an option if needed be.
What I run now, to what I hope to run on the truck come spring.

If needed I can always mount the tires I have on now onto the new wheels.

I removed the fwd bars on both sides. I could not remove the aft. I “spread” the aft. I have 33x12.5x18 1.5 “spacer for a total offset of -44. This is on a two in leveling kit. I am rubbing. Especially in reverse. But man it looks cool lol. So it’s all about what you wanna deal with and how/where you drive.

Definitely hoping to avoid rubbing if possible. If it means removing the crash bars then I will.

On my truck the aft crash bars cannot be easily removed. They are installed on the assembly line before the cab. That gives you only one option. Cutting them off. I didn’t want to go that far if a 4”+ lift (in the future) will remedy the problem.

Cutting the crash bars is crazy. If you ever want to sell that truck would you inform any prospective buyer that you are selling them unsafe vehicle?

My truck has too many KM's on it to be worth anything. By the time it's done for it will be a parts truck.

Addionally if one ever has an accident where someone is hurt, one of the first things either insurance company does is the check the crash bars. If you have removed them your chances of any favorable agreement is gone and the chances of an unfavorable settlement rises considerably.

I kid of course, and no I wouldn't remove the bars on my truck either. They are there for a reason, and for said reason, they will stay.

Cutting out the crash bars is stupidity at its finest.
