Remote Turn on Wire
Hey just I pretty much finished installing my stereo in my trucks. Sounds SOOO much better. I got a LOC/DSP from Audio Control and even tho it's all ***** it greatly improved the sound in my truck. I gotta tell ya it was a lot of work routing new wires to the speakers and trying to find a sunny non busy day to do it all. I still need to clean up a lot of stuff but the light is at the end of the tunnel!
I bought a plug in adapter that goes behind the drivers side passenger seat that has a a few wires that can send power and remote turn on. It works great with one exception, when I turn the car off.. anything connected to that (amps, LOC, etc) still remains on. When I open the door I heard a pop. Is there anyway to turn on everything remotely ONLY when the stereo gets turned on or i just have to live with this or possibly add a switch to turn on my setup? I see some used an add a fuse but my goal is to turn on the amps/LOC when I want to.. no when the vehicle does so. Any ideas?
This was defintely the most difficult car stereo install I have ever done...I think if I didn't like the factory radio so much adding an aftermarket would have been easier.. but.. what would be the challenge to that!?
