Default Remote start run time

Can you Change the remote starts run time for more then 15 min. On a 2016? I don't have the key fob that has the remote start button I have to hit lock then lock 3 more times. I don't know if there is something on Forscan or not. I just hate it when I remote start it up then shuts off it that 15 mins ant them it's just starting to blow warm air not enough time for the snow to start thinking about melting I don't know if it has to do with the V8 being bigger the the V6 .

Fordpass. You can extend to 2 x 15 min.

Factory remote start is limited to 2 15 minute run times. The vehicle then has to be started with the key before being able to use remote start again.

I believe it has to do with not being able to kill yourself or someone else with carbon monoxide poisoning.

My 2015 Cruze only allows 2x10 minutes max.

That little 4 banger does not heat up much at all in that time.
