Forgive me if I overlooked this in my search but I have a question. The last couple of mornings when I’ve used my remote start, the fob will flash green 3 times then flash red 3 times. The truck starts and everything is fine. Just curious why the fob is doing that. Any ideas? I have a 2018 F150 XLT if that matters.

 

just means the fob didn't receive the signal back from the truck saying the start was a success, it will light solid green if it receives the signal back. I wouldn't worry about it

 

Good to know. I didn't know the fob was supposed to do that. Will search for that feature on the manual; don't remember reading that. I'm also curious if the truck will run the heater even if you don't have HVAC on auto. I always turn HVAC off before shutting engine off. And if A/C was on, I turn it off a minute before turning HVAC off, to avoid the coil getting moldy.

 

it should if the settings are correct in the menu. I know mine does and even turns the heated seats on
