Is there a way to extend the factory remote start run time from 10min to longer?

Yes. It's in the manual. I don't remember off the top of my head. You can make it run up to 15 minutes.

Key on, engine off

slide all the way to the right side of your dash board menu, scroll down to Advanced settings, Vehicle, Remote Start... and modify away! 5-10 or 20 I think are your options!

I know it right....

Just when I think I have a new idea or problem, if I would learn to SEARCH THIS FORUM before starting a new post, my answer is likely already out there.... lol...

My favorite first post was when I didn't think lane assist was working.. I changed all the freaking DASH settings... 5 times.. and then decided to post what I THOUGHT was an issue...

Someone immediately replies....

Uh, did you turn it on,,,, ya know the button behind the shifter on the console...

Uh, Nope,,, so that's what that button is for.. DOH!
