I had installed Control Module FT4J-19G367-AA along with the Remote access module. while I do understand why the remote access is no longer working, I do not have remote start on my truck. I am looking for assistance. The Ford Remote Access worked without problems when it was still supported.

Little background. My truck is a 2015 F150 Lariat. It did not come with remote start. Remote start functions were added in when the modules were installed. The truck is push button to start, has the 3 button key fobs. I have tried a lock-lock-lock to see if the truck would start, does not work. lock-unlock-lock will not start it either. with the FT4J-19G367-AA module that was installed, shouldn't I be able to use my oem key fobs to remote start the truck? Can anyone shed some light on this to help me figure it out.

That module does not support the fob remote start like you described. They didn't start that until modules for the 2018 models.

 

Thanks for the update. is there any newer vss that can be installed in that 2015 that would enable this? or is aftermarket the way to go?
