How would I go about enabling remote start? my xlt doesn't have this listed as an option (no 302 pkg but have sync3) but I can remote start it from the ford pass app and it has remote start settings in the instrument cluster menu. would I just need to get the fob with the remote start on it and program? thanks, seems like it would be an easy add

 

I don't know the answer to that. But why do you need that if ti works through Fordpass?

 

it's more convenient than ford pass - ford pass is pretty slow

 

Ah ok. Well it is an interesting question since it obviously HAS remote start. Maybe FORSCAN thing can program it to work? But yes, you probably need the $200 FOB too.
