Sounds like buying the stuff is the way to go. So my question is how hard is it to filter through what I need done? I'm not the best with computers.

 

Its pretty easy, just have a laptop, or higher end tablet, at the ready. Here is the link for the FORScan post. Very good tutorial with step by step instructions. There are also plenty of videos showing it as well. Its a very easy process, just be sure to check twice and change once, like measuring twice...

 

Just to be clear when you turn on your truck with the key you don't have the remote control options in the cluster. Most aftermarket systems should configure this in when it was installed. I would just double check if you have the options.
