Default Remote oil filter

After changing my oil for the first time I've decided I'm not fond of the filter placement and the guessing of which side the oil will come from so I want to do a remote filter setup.
This one (and others): http://www.partsgeek.com/tkj9db9-for...ad=11620898017 says for the 2015 but not with 22mm filter thread. Does anybody know what the bread is on the Ecoboost?

Install a remote oil filter this weekend. Went pretty smooth and now I won't have oil dripping down into the front cross member and 'skid plate' .

This is the one I picked up.

I used a little Teflon tape, starting no closer to the end of the connector than 2 threads to make sure nine would come loose and end up in the oil. Took about 45 minutes to change the oil and install it, but than included cutting and bending a bracket. I also have a Fumoto drain with the 3/8" hose so now oil changes are done with no tools and no mess.

I'll get some pics after I paint the bracket, it's full of surface rust and because it was 9pm i didn't have time to get it 100%.

I think the oil filter is 10x Easier, to access on my 16 3.5 EB. Then it was on my 12 3.5 EB!

The 2012, was a total PITA... I always cussed that thing...

My fear has always been that I break an oil line on that adaptor and kill the engine.

I'd like to see the pics.. I haven't done my first oil change yet, but I planned on the fumoto valve too. As a tip, I remove the Fumoto valve every other oil change to allow a complete drain. In the event of any debris sitting at the drain..

That kinda Defeats the purpose of the Fumoto!

I had one on my 12, and that was the one thing I Hated! As well as taking forever to Drain!

No Fumoto for my 16, I just bought a Bigger & Better oil drain pan...

i just bought a new fumoto for the Focus RS, and they have a new new design that drops the oil straight down.

I'll get pics this weekend when I pull the bracket to paint it.

On a downside... I got about 2 miles from the house this morning and lost oil pressure. Underside of the tuck looks like an oil slick. Not sure if the failure point yet since I'm dressed for work but will update on this as well (my suspicion is the o-ring on the adapter plate)

So you got some rustproofing for the underside of the truck......

My suspicion would be a clamp not tight enough and a hose came loose. Had that happen to me on a tranny oil cooler one time.
