Red refelctor or red light?

Is the small red square located on the inside door jams a light or just a reflector. Mine does not light

Howdy. I am not sure if they are lighted or just a reflector. They may be different between the models. So if you could let us know what model F150 you have it would help narrow it down to get an answer.
