Default Recommended Tune?

What company did you use to tune your truck and why? Or do you recommended a certain brand? I am driving a 2019 5.0

I looked for a another thread on this subject but could not find anything

Go to Google and type exactly
"tune" "5.0" site:www.f150forum.com

Loads of results. The built in search method is garbage.

Lots of threads about this here and in the performance/tuning section

https://www.f150forum.com/f123/

I went with 5 Star because they offer a powertrain warranty for their tunes, lots of people have used them, and there are no horror stories nor has anybody even reported needing to use the warranty...tunes are obviously safe.

Nothing but a tune, no revisions (because it's so good I'm afraid to change anything and risk messing it up), 0-60 of 5.05 seconds in a super crew with 10 ply AT tires. Drives stupendously

Oh, and I got the warranty because I was tuning a basically brand new truck (which happened to be my first ever brand new vehicle)

Been running it for...not sure would have to check...but about 9,000 miles

I have used an MPT tune on both my Raptor and F-150. Very happy with the tune and MPT's customer service. Highly recommend the engine and transmission tune. I am running their Performance Tow tune.

I went with 5star and have been happy. Great response as well. They will tweak their tunes based off of your mods and have you fill out a pretty complete form to find out all about your ride and your tune desires. YMMV

I have a 2019 5.0 tuned with 5Star. I'm currently running their Adaptive tune on its 2nd revision. I'm also running E85 and its just AWESOME. So much stronger than stock and running E85 the truck just wants to go when you get into it. When you just are driving around it shifts very smoothly and they have also taken out the "skip shifts". This is the best my truck has felt. I highly recommend you give them a call and talk to them about what you want outta your tune(s). I also recommend you run 93 or E85 if you have it available. You'll get the most outta your tunes with those 2 fuels. I have several tunes through them as I like having different choices in case the need arises. They are only $10 after the 1st 3 tunes so if you think you might need it, just go ahead and get it. I have 2 perf/tow tunes (93 and 89 octane), 2 performance tunes (93 and E85), 85+ Adaptive, and transmission only. I also tune with the SCT BDX without issue.
