Default recall

Hi, I bought a 2015 F150 about 9 months ago and checking the vin number I saw that there are a couple of recalls 20M04 and 18N03 both involving the door locks. I called the dealer and they said basically they said it is not a safety recall and it sounded to me that they do not want to do it. Does anyone had to deal with this recall?

Call Ford Motor Customer service. Give them your VIN and ask if there are any outstanding recalls that apply.

Those are TSB’s not recalls. It might be too late to have them don’t for free, I’m not sure.

I had the freezing latch issue TSB done a couple years back and it fixed my freezing locks.

Fordpass kept bugging me about the freezing latch concern as well. I ignored it being down here in Tejas and seeing others post of issues after having the TSB done. If it ain't broke.........

Those are just extended coverage programs. If you have the problem they will fix it, if you don't then dont worry about it

There were 3 recalls on my 2015 that I ignored until I just took mine in to get the trailer tow module reprogrammed for a trailer disconnect issue. They did all of them at once. Luckily, I just missed out on the emissions one as I won't be doing that.
