Default Rear window leaking

I noticed my rear seat was wet on both top corners. I think it's the rear window or third brake light leaking. Anyone else with this problem? I have a 2015 XLT.

Mine is doing same thing, I even tried to use rtv seal on it, but i don't think i used enough, since it is back to leaking. I have seen people mention butyl tape, so that will be my next attempt, once i can find some around here.

I am pretty confident it is coming from the third brake light.

Mine did the same thing my third brake light was leaking it was a pinched gasket from the factory. My dealer replaced the whole assembly and solved the problem.

Same as Mudmedic had the third brake light replaced and so far it's resolved the issue.

Why wouldn't you just take it to your dealer and have it fixed properly under warranty?

What about all the wiring that will rust and short out after you've had a leak. Don't they have to replace all the wiring that got wet to make you whole?

I checked the 4 screws all were loose 1/4 to 1/2 turn. If this don't work will be going to the dealer.

Went to dealer today for oil change, tire rotation and they looked 3rd brake light and ordered a new one!
