Default Rear view mirror bracket clip worn out

I've had my windshield replace four times in the past on my 2016 Lariat with Auto DIming rear view mirror. Just had it replace again and now the metal clip that's on the inside of the bracket that holds it to the flat bracket on the windshield are worn out. Has a bad wobble now. Searched all over the web for replacement part. Any body have a fix or know where I can buy just a bracket with clamp?

Thanks

Greg

Seems like Part #9 is what you're looking for.

I switched my autodim with the clip base to an autodim with the screw-in base. I confirmed the tabs on the windshield are the same part number for either the clip base or screw base.

I don’t think you can purchase just the clip piece on the mirror unit, I think it’s all one piece. I bought the whole autodim mirror with the screw base for $54 shipped on eBay. Relatively cheap “upgrade” imo.

I didn’t realize this post was 4 years old. Don’t even know how I came across it. Forgive the resurrection lol
