Default Rear view camera screen

Morning boys, I've got a '19 Lariat with Sync 3 and have a question.

When I put the truck in reverse I get a split screen view with what's behind me plus a view looking down to show what's on either side of my truck.

I'd much rather just have a full screen view of what's behind me rather than also seeing what's beside me and wondered if there's a way to not show the down view. I've looked everywhere in my screen and also the owners manual but can't find anything.

Anyone know if it's possible to do away with the split screen and just show what's behind on the full screen ?

I often go to a full screen just by pushing the camera button once, gives me a beautiful view of backing. On my 2018 if you push the camera button twice you get a great close up for trailer hook up.

Similar results for easing forward.

Thanks Dunrollin, I just went out to the garage and tried that and it's exactly what I was looking for.

I use the front camera a lot and also use the zoom for the rear camera frequently but never tried pushing the button once for the full back-up screen.

Happy New Year to you.

I know, old thread. What I’d like to know, is there any way to make the rear camera default to full screen When going to reverse?
