Dropping my *** end to level it out (2" drop shackles) and was planning to use the 5100 shocks, my shop said they aren't set up for a lowered truck. Has anyone used these with their mild drop? Do I need to find something designed for such a 2" rear drop?

4wd or 2wd? If you have a 4wd the 2wd shocks options may be shorter (they do not have blocks over the rear springs like 4wd) . KM

I'd personally call Bilstein and ask...

 

I'm quite sure members have described having lowered rear combined with 5100 Bilsteins. Either shackles or blocks you may find reference with a site search.
