Rear End Popping Sound While Flexing
#11
Just throwing out another idea... Have you checked to make sure the spare tire is high and tight? Maybe spray some lube on the body mount bushings?

I've got what I think is the same issue on my 2016, 22k miles. I cannot reproduce it by rocking the bed up and down or back and forth, but it pops when flexed, usually leaving my driveway. Definitely coming from the rear passenger side. The dealer has replaced my rear passenger shock and it made no difference.
Here are some videos I've gathered. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

Do you have wheel well liners? Had this issue and it turned out one of my liners warped and was hitting the leaf spring pack. Heating the liner a bit and pulling it away from the leaf pack fixed the issue for me.

Have y'all tried greasing the leaf spring isolator pads? It's the white pads between the top and middle leafs. Jack up the truck from the hitch (choke your front wheels) and use a large screwdriver or prybar to spread the leafs. Use a good chuck of grease like wheel bearing grease or marine grease that won't dry out or wash off quick.
See if that works.

This is what I did to fix my popping sound when pulling into/out of the driveway. Hasn't been back since.

In those first videos, the camera shakes when the pop happens, leading one to think that it's the surface the camera is mounted to that's actually got the problem. I assume the camera was mounted to the leaf pack? So that means the leaf pack is binding and popping. You found your own problem. Cool.

I did spray engine oil in the leaf springs, bushings and the cable clips. Also spray the steel parts I can see underneath to prevent rust. Still the clunk is there sometimes but it does not bother me most of the times.
