Rear end losing traction
Anyone having any issues with the rear end losing traction? I've only had my new truck a couple of weeks, but already I've spun the rear tires several times unexpectedly. The tires are nearly new (moved them from my old truck to my new one). Never had an issue with losing traction before. I know the new EB engines are a lot more powerful (my 2014 F150 had the basic 6cyl), but this really does seem to break traction very easily.

No kidding. I was on a loopy left-hand on-ramp yesterday. Midway through the turn I slightly touched the gas and the back end broke traction and damn near spun me around. Now I'm a little paranoid about hitting the gas, especially on any kind of turns.

I think some peeps have replaced the rear shocks with aftermarket to help prevent this as well. I have not just gotten use to driving the truck..... It spins KO2 tires easily as well.

These trucks have a lot of torque down low, plus the reduced weight of the bed, so it makes tire slippage easier. However, the power is very linear on my truck.
Since your truck is new, it might smooth out as it learns your driving style.

Throw some weight in the bed over the rear axle?

Lighter rear end (bed) and a lot more torque. You and the truck will learn together.

common issue with any turbo vehicle when transitioning from off boost to on boost. At the point where boost hits it is very difficult control it with the throttle pedal. If I had a 2.7 turbo I'd be installing a limited slip or torsen diff. Perfect solution.
